Having done a few of Scott Kelby’s courses before, I expected a good deal of useful information and wisdom. I was not disappointed, as the approach he described is quite useful. However, the course seems to be a bit dated, in that the focus is on Lightroom Classic using catalogs. The latest version of Lightroom has a different interface and file management approach. There is no need to use the cloud, especially in places where the internet is rather slow. The backup strategy is very useful. The alternate workflow option in session 8 is my preferred approach, even when using my iPad to save on weight while travelling. Moving files to a couple of external hard drives is straightforward. I use one that is a hub with a provision for an SSD plus multiple ports, so another SSD can be chained. Backup is quick and easy. Perhaps consider updating the content to reflect the newest Lightroom release.
